Resource Information for Parents
The first 50% of each family’s K-9 resource allotment is available when enrollment/ re-enrollment and the SLP are complete. This portion of the funds may be accessed from April/ May to October 15th. The start date coincides with the home school conference in Kelowna (BC CHEC) where parents are able to view and purchase curriculum. The remaining 50% is available October 15th to May 31st.
High school students are provided with the necessary curriculum for core courses (Math, English, Science, Social Studies, Planning 10). Funds for grades 10-12 courses are available when enrollment/ re-enrollment, the SLP & Grad Planner are complete. Most orders for grades 10-12 core curriculum will be processed by the CHEK office. Parents should contact their teacher regarding elective materials & PE fees.
Families with registered students can be reimbursed up to $150 for resources. Parents will submit receipts to the Resource Office for educational purchases. Click on the links below for more details.

SLP: Student Learning Plan
Resource allotment: Funds available to purchase curriculum, activities and lessons for each enrolled/ registered student
PO#: Purchase order number (provided to vendors when an order is placed)
Resource funds for all students in a family (enrolled, registered, and grades 10-12) may be pooled together. One family PO# will be used to purchase curriculum, activities, and lessons for all students within a family.
Purchase order forms should be filled out for orders that need to be submitted to the CHEK office for processing in order to provide all necessary order details.
